Mulberry Silk
Mulberry Silk is a prestigious flattering textile that produces a natural gleaming shine. Mulberry silk is breathable, absorbent, has thermal regulation, decent longevity and the ability to dry rather quickly, meaning there is less time between washing and wearing the garment. Its delicate feel and barely-there sensation allow for the absorption of sweat during sleep, creating an optimal environment for a restful night. The textiles thermal regulation properties, means it keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer. It is in the thread itself and the method of weaving silk, as the warp floats over four wefts, in and under one, over a four pattern, that ensures the shape and lustre remain for many enjoyable wears, over many different seasons.
Mulberry Silk Velvet
Silk velvet, the epitome of opulence, stands as the most exorbitant variation of velvet. Its renowned lustrous sheen emanates a captivating shimmer, transforming with every angle. Silk Velvet has a soft, silky texture that is genuinely ‘velvety smooth,’ defining luxury.
Hemp
A frontier in ethical luxury fabrics, hemp. A fibre that the more it is washed the more delightful it becomes to wear on the skin. This fibre achieves a softness that rivals some of the most timeless and luxurious natural textiles. Hemp fabric presents several positive environmental impacts. Hemp plants require minimal water, no pesticides, and grow quickly, preventing soil erosion. The cultivation of hemp improves soil health, and its deep roots absorb carbon dioxide, contributing to carbon sequestration. Hemp also yields more fibre per acre than other crops, promoting sustainable land use. Additionally, hemp fabric is biodegradable, reducing environmental impact at the end of its life cycle. Overall, hemp stands as an eco-friendly alternative in the textile industry.
Hemp x Bamboo
The progression to move farming from cotton to a more eco-conscious textile is a slow moving process, so many blends with this natural resource are ample. Hemp blends have a wide range, including a Hemp and Bamboo Blend, which we incorporate into our designs for HYPNOS TM. Bamboo fabric offers positive environmental aspects. Bamboo grows rapidly, requiring minimal pesticides and fertilisers. Its cultivation enhances soil health, and as a renewable resource, it minimises deforestation.
Bamboo also absorbs greenhouse gases and requires less water than traditional crops, contributing to a more sustainable textile industry.
The way to fix the forests is to use advanced composites from annual fibres like hemp. Anything you can make out of a tree, you can make out of hemp”

Alpaca Wool
Alpaca wool has less allergy agents and is considered a more sustainable fibre over wool and cashmere. We love a modern twist on a classic.
Modal
Modal fabric, an exquisite textile of botanical origin, derives from beech tree pulp. Revered for its unparalleled softness and luxurious drape, Modal seamlessly combines comfort with sophistication. This fabric’s breathability and moisture-wicking properties enhance its desirability, making it a refined choice for discerning individuals who appreciate both style and substance. Modal’s eco-friendly credentials, arising from the sustainably sourced raw material and environmentally conscious production processes, further underscore its position as a symbol of refined elegance in the realm of contemporary textiles.
Bamboo
Bamboo fabric is crafted from the pulp of bamboo plants. Through a mechanical or chemical process, the cellulose extracted is spun into fibers. Known for its eco-friendliness, softness, and breathability, bamboo fabric has gained popularity in sustainable fashion.
Rayon
Rayon, although semi-synthetic, has some positive environmental factors. It is derived from renewable cellulose sources such as wood pulp, contributing to a reduced dependence on non-renewable resources. The closed-loop production method, in some cases, minimises environmental impact by recycling and reusing chemicals. Rayon’s biodegradability is another positive aspect, offering a more eco-friendly end-of-life cycle compared to some synthetic counterparts. However, it’s important to note that the specific production process can vary, and not all rayon production methods may be equally environmentally friendly.
There’s a reason good fabrics have a cost.
